Modern Cali-psych is usually awesome. We love our Wooden Shjips, Crystal Antlers, Assemble Head In Sunburst Mind, and Comets On Fire. Other bands like Black Mountain and Brighblack Morning Light do a swell job as well, even if the former is from Canada and the latter from Outer Space. You know what I’m talking about, right? Sleepy Sun is no exception from that good old psych vibe, not even when the record is kinda old.
